American motorcyclist John Hermann has earned the title, "King of the Alps". Decades of exploring the Alps on BMW motorcycles covering 250,000 miles, resulted in his being tapped by Whitehorse Press to write a guidebook of motorcycle touring in this magical place. The book was so popular, it was published in five editions. We made this image in the upper Engadine Valley on John's trip in the Spring of 2012.
